Church of San Jacopo

This 11th-century Romanesque church is dedicated to Saint James and served as the spiritual heart of the Knights of the Tau. Its facade features distinctive two-tone marble work and a relief of the Tau cross, the symbol of the order that protected pilgrims. Modern pilgrims can visit the site where the legendary 'La Smarrita' bell once guided lost travelers to safety through the fog.
