Carrières Wellington (WWI tunnels)

The Wellington Quarry is a network of underground tunnels used by New Zealand miners during the Battle of Arras in 1917, later preserved as a museum and memorial. Visitors can tour the galleries to learn about tunnelling, trench warfare and the human stories of the First World War.
