Via Francigena· Stage Guînes → Wissant
Wissant was a primary medieval port for pilgrims and travelers crossing the English Channel to and from Dover. The village church of Saint Nicholas houses a statue of Saint Wilgefortis and reflects the town's long maritime history. It is a significant coastal stop for those following the footsteps of Archbishop Sigeric.
